Responsible for providing first point of contact for student counsel and support for Bethel’s student population through collaboration with partner offices, and for the proactive cultivation of substantive relationships with students for the purpose of supporting their overall success as students and seamless transition into Bethel academicprograms.
Provides leadership and oversight of student success initiatives to support student success and thriving in academic (school), interpersonal (social), and intrapersonal (self/spiritual) areas. Works with Academic Affairs, Institutional Research, and the Office of Student Life to provide pathways to success for first-generation students, Pell-eligible, Indigenous, Students of Color, Multi-lingual learners, and/or entering Bethel with few college credits. Helps develop and maintain a comprehensive student success program. Evaluates the program and analyzes assessment data related to persistence and retention to improve student success outcomes.
Manages University payroll for staff, faculty and students. Supervises work of payroll staff. Also manages multi-state payroll tax set up, filing, funding and state and local account management. Manages benefit plan reconciliation and audit.
Responsible for supporting the Vice President of Inclusive Excellence, Chief Financial Officer, and operational activities of the Offices of Inclusive Excellence and Chief Financial Officer. Primary responsibilities include executive support and administrative assistance to the Vice President of Inclusive Excellence (VP of IX), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), office staff, and operational management.
Supports daily operations of the Campus Planning & Space Management team within the Facilities Management department, with primary focus on moving, installing, and organizing furniture. Coordinates and executes day-to-day operational tasks related to office moves, space requests, and space management. Assists with data acquisition and management for Facilities Assessment database.

Manages, mentors and models’ best practices to counseling staff within assigned program cluster(s). Recruits new students for Bethel University through identifying, qualifying, and cultivating prospective students to increase the number of students to the university for designated programs.
Serves as a people and culture consultant advising supervisors and employees in the areas of compensation, training, performance, employee relations, culture and organizational development. Responsible for aligning employees and supervisors in designated areas with university objectives. Oversees performance management and offboarding of employees.
Perform duties of a custodian, as well as others duties related to Facilities Management operations as assigned by the Housing Lead Supervisor and the Manager of Building Services.
To be the primary security shift supervisor and carry out the day-to-day patrolling and emergency response for the Security and Safety branch.
