Job Summary

Manage the successful delivery of projects through the coordination of client communication, project plans, timelines, schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation of web pages, advertising campaigns, inbound marketing, publications, direct mail, email communications, photo shoots, video production, social media campaigns, campus signage, etc.
  • Manage project plans to meet defined goals, in-budget and on-time.
  • Provide direction to creative team and communicate progress to client.
  • Participate in meetings, document client requirements, and define project goals.
  • Analyze effectiveness of project performance and adjust project plans accordingly.
  • Periodically consult with marketing, admissions and development staff.
  • Provide guidance to student workers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of project management software and/or industry best practices.
  • Highly organized and detailed.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at once.
  • Strategic ability to reprioritize projects on the fly.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and in scope.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Ability to assign work at all levels.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of design principles and use of writing styles.

Experience

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in a project management environment, preferably in marketing or communications.

Education

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field.

Additional Information

Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
