Job Summary

We anticipate closing this position to new applicants on June 3rd. 

 

Uses Bethel University’s goal of being centered on Jesus to grow enrollment and expand Kingdom impact as well as enhance student experience. The Admissions Guest Center Coordinator greets prospective students, families and guests who visit or call the office, personally taking action to assist them. This person will coordinate and execute on-campus visits for prospective students and their parents, serving as a liaison for daily visitors, faculty, coaches, staff and others in the Admissions Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all first impressions for guests in the CAS Admissions Guest Center, ensuring that our prospective students and families have an impactful event experience. Executes the logistics for prospective students and their families from Campus Visit Experience Manager. Serves as the first point of contact for day of event coordination in the Admissions Guest Center.
  • Hires and supervises ambassador tour guide team and front desk workers. Coordinating tours for various on campus visits and events, as well as requests from other departments.
  • Serves as a member of the Campus Visit Team. Working collaboratively with Campus Visit Experience Manager to assist in coordinating visit experiences for prospective students and families.
  • Answers phones and in person inquiries at Admissions Guest Center with exceptional guest service.
  • Order and organize all supplies, materials, and swag for the admissions team (including front and back shared spaces).

Required Skills

  • Individual must be detail oriented with demonstrated organizational ability and strong oral and written communication. 
  • Individual is expected to interact in a professional and confidential manner with all faculty, staff and students and maintain confidentiality of department information, strong people skills are a must. 
  • Must be able to use Google Platform, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.

Experience

Required Experience:

  • 1+ years of related administration experience.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in an educational organization.

Education

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

 

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, business or another related area.

Additional Information

  • Working in often fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to multitask on computers and phones.
  • Occasional evening and weekend hours may be necessary.
