  • Job Summary

    Provides management and leadership to the Campus Visit Team for the Office of Admissions, College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). Oversees internal and external strategic community partnerships that bring prospective students to visit and experience Bethel University.


    • Provides management, leadership and coordination to the Campus Visit Team for the Office of Admissions-CAS. This includes developing and maintaining all aspects of the Campus Visit Experience including hiring, training, coaching and mentoring.
    • Provides oversight for various admissions student employee groups including: summer student workers, Welcome Desk, Events Team, STARS team, Campus Visit and Counselor Assistants, Show Room, Bethel Hosting Team, the Admissions Ambassadors tour team, the Frontline receptionist team, and the Admissions Cabbies transportation team. Duties include training of student employees, regular communication and approval of student time sheets.
    • Provide oversight of ongoing performance enhancements with the Salesforce CRM Tool. Administer and report on surveys to assess campus visit experience. Uses data to guide improvements and affirm accomplishments.
    • Serves as a liaison between Faculty, Coaching Staff and others within the Bethel Community, and in the community at large, to provide services necessary in the implementation of excellent Campus Visit Experience. Coordinate with strategic on-campus partnerships such as BUILD, Living the Questions, ActSix, and middle school visit days.
    • Manages and maintain admissions visit and event statistics, event budgets, and catering. Oversee continue development of the admissions office mobile app.
    • In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Recruitment, manage and provide support for counselor travel strategy and plans.

    • Candidates must show proven ability to work with multiple tasks and projects well.
    • The successful candidate will have knowledge of Bethel University, particularly as it relates to the college’s mission as a Christian college and the ability to clearly present the benefits of Christian liberal arts education.
    • Individual should have strong skills in both written and oral communication, and the ability to motivate and understand the needs of prospective students.
    • Possess an aggressive, proactive promotional bias with demonstrated experience in this area
    • Skills in using a database to track and matriculate prospects Creative problem solver who responds to challenges with creative.
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
    • Understanding of Social Media marketing preferred.
    • Must be a developer of both individuals and teams.
    • Must have proven work history of working within teams effectively and collaboratively.

    Required Experience

    3+ years of related experience. Experience working within Higher Education strongly preferred.

    Required Education

    Bachelor’s degree required. A degree from Bethel University or another Christian college is preferred

    Additional Information

    • Sitting, standing, lifting 50+ lbs.
    • 1 FTE, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year. Some evening and weekend hours required. Some travel may be required.
