  • Job Summary

    This is a temporary 40 hours a week/6 month position.


    Input Academic degree plans into DegreeWorks to create plan templates for students and advisors. Use understanding of the complexities of curriculum to arrange degree requirements in a clear, concise, and helpful manner. Help develop a process for updating templates on an annual basis. Act as back up administrative support for the Academic Affairs team on rare occasions.


    • Create Academic templates in DegreeWorks
    • Develop annual template creation and maintenance process with the Academic Affairs Communication Coordinator
    • Coordinate with Academic Affairs staff and the Director of Academic Advising on project specific details and provide regular updates on the project

    Required Skills

    • A proven proficiency working with complex relational databases or a working knowledge of Banner and DegreeWorks is preferred.
    • Must be detail-oriented.
    • Must be a proven self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner is essential.
    • Ability to learn, understand, and apply knowledge of software programs

    Required Experience

    1+ years of experience in an academic administrative environment, Teaching Assistant role, or professional office experience preferred

    Required Education

    Post-high school training/coursework required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

    Additional Information

    Busy, academic, office setting-must be able to work in a sitting position using a computer for extensive periods of time.

    This is a temporary 40 hours per week, 6 month position.
