  • Job Summary

    Provide vision, strategic direction, and leadership for the enrollment management function at Bethel University in its effort to identify, recruit, admit, enroll, and graduate the optimal number and quality of students in each of our educational units (College of Arts and Sciences(CAS); College of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS); Bethel Seminary (Sem); Graduate School (GS)).

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, advance, and monitor annual enrollment projections that are in alignment with the strategic enrollment plan, current enrollment patterns, university strategic plan goals, and the annual budget process. Partner with finance in the development of tuition revenue, financial aid budget forecasting, and enrollment management operating budgets.
      Serve as a catalyst with university leaders to assess market trends, identify pipelines, and promote partnerships utilizing institutional, regional and national data to analyze and evaluate short- and long-term strategic and targeted recruitment and admissions needs.
    • Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer and other members of senior administration to establish and drive marketing objectives and plans. Develop and implement strategies to engage faculty and other university personnel in the execution of enrollment initiatives. Build external partnerships as needed with those who can help Bethel meet its strategic enrollment objectives.
    • Lead the admissions and enrollment management operations teams to drive results and ensure achievement of recruitment and net revenue goals.
    • Advise the President and other key members of the leadership team on recruitment strategy and tactics. Serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet in planning, discussing, and deciding issues related to the overall leadership and management of the university. Serve as the enrollment senior leader to the Board of Trustees and Strategic Planning Committee.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Required Experience

    • At least 10 years of enrollment management and leadership experience at progressive levels of responsibility is required.
    • Experience must include a successful track record of leading enrollment efforts, preferably in a comprehensive context involving programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

    Required Education

    Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree strongly preferred.

    Additional Information

    • Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time.
    • This is a 1 FTE, 12 month position.
