  • Job Summary

    Plan, coordinate, lead, and implement all University Advancement Data Integrity functions.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Manage UA data integrity student employees. Including hiring and training, development of objectives and standards, maintenance of procedures, coordination of professional development activities, and oversight of daily operations. 
    • Provide leadership in the management and maintenance of all alumni, donor and constituent records. Serve as lead advisor for staff and student workers regarding data confidentiality, use, and maintenance. Develop strategies to improve data integrity in UA. This includes development of reports to monitor data integrity, database changes, address accuracy, and data relationships. 
    • Serve as a liaison to university departments on matters relating to records management, departmental list requests, and quality control of data entry. Manage daily integration of Raiser’s Edge data with other University data systems. 
    • Support all areas of UA on data acquisition processes and procedures. Assist in training UA Raiser’s Edge users.
    • Manage and coordinate returned mail lists and bad address updates. Collaborate with Communications and Marketing to identify and review mail house selection criteria and ensure compliance with University data integrity standards. 

    Required Skills

    • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database applications, is required. Experience with the Raiser’s Edge is preferred.
    • Must be detail-oriented and have effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Individual must be able to handle sensitive, confidential information in a mature professional manner.
    • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Must be able to manage data within a complex database
    • Must possess good keyboarding skills.

    Required Experience

    1+ years of experience required; customer service and comfortable in a supervisory role preferred.

    Required Education

    High school degree required; Post-high school training/coursework preferred.

    Additional Information

    • Must be able to work in a sitting position at a computer for extended periods of time. 
    • This is a 40 hours per week, 12 months per year position.
    • May require extended hours.
