  • Job Summary

    Coordinate the execution and logistics of events for post traditional admissions in order to provide a first class initial impression of Bethel for prospective students.


    • Coordinate the logistics of online information sessions, speaker series, and content marketing events. In consultation with events management, coordinate all aspects of event operations, including RSVP tracking. Provide day of event coordination. 
    • Register enrollment counselors for all conferences and recruitment events, book or coordinate travel arrangements, ensure promotional materials are available, and complete any preparations so counselors are able to maximize conference attendance.
    • Coordinate the execution of all face-to-face post traditional admissions events, including regional events. In collaboration with the Office of Marketing, ensure promotional communications are created and executed. In consultation with events management, coordinate all aspects of event operations, including RSVP tracking and refreshments. 
    • Coordinate partnership event logistics and details with assistant director of operations and first impressions, program directors, and enrollment staff. 
    • Track event spending to budget for all conferences and events. 

    Required Skills

    • Must be operationally-oriented and able to plan and execute projects from ideation to completion.
    • Must be a proven self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Must have the ability to work proficiently with a variety of technologies, such as WebEx, Salesforce, and other applications including Microsoft Office products.
    • Must be detail-oriented and have effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple duties.
    • Must be able to handle sensitive, confidential information in a mature and professional manner. 

    Required Experience

    Two plus years of experience in business or education. Strong preference for experience in higher education or adult education recruitment.

    Additional Information

    • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
    • Travel required.
    • Must be physically able to carry suitcases and large recruiting displays across large parking lots and up and down flights of stairs. 
    • This is a 1 FTE, 12 month per year position.
    • Must be willing to travel and work non-routine hours as needed during certain times of the year. Some weekends and evenings required for recruiting events.
