  • Job Summary

    To maintain Bethel Seminary San Diego’s compliance with the State of California’s Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) laws, regulations, updates and changes.


    • Maintain updated rosters of current students, graduates, and withdrawn students for a three-year time period 
    • Contact alumni for employment information (as required by BPPE) and verify information with alumni’s employers 
    • Check BPPE website monthly for changes or updates in laws and regulations 
    • Attend BPPE workshops at least semi-annually and update BSSD dean and staff as requested 
    • Electronically track, sign, and file all Student Enrollment Agreements (SEA) and School Performance Fact Sheets (SPFS) for every term (Fall, Interim, Spring & Summer) 

    Required Skills

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Reader
    Ability to organize data from online survey programs (such as Qualtrics) and interpret/transcribe data onto Excel spreadsheets
    Ability to understand and interpret some contractual legalese with respect to government regulations
    Self-motivated and self-disciplined
    Ability to communicate and interact over the phone with a wide variety of individuals in a pleasant, professional and courteous manner

    Required Experience

    Prior work in a corporate setting that deals with local, state, or federal regulatory agencies

    Required Education

    A minimum of two years of college; or equivalent professional experience


    Additional Information

    Option of working from home if desired; or a work station on campus will be provided

    This is a part-time, 10 hours per week, 12 months per year position
