  • Job Summary

    Lead the process of identifying and implementing solutions to advance the enrollment process and ensure a consistent user and student experience by capturing, documenting, and communicating the requirements from stakeholders to implementers and validating that the implementation meets established requirements


    Business Process Modeling:

    • Identify and execute appropriate modeling tools and techniques to document the current state of business processes as well as the desired future state
    • Consult with Enrollment Management and supporting organizations’ stakeholders to identify, define, and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access; transfers knowledge to teams that will be engaged to implement solutions.

    Business Process Development and Partnership:

    • Develop, maintain, and share a thorough understanding of the current state of the Enrollment Management business process (and associated and supporting university process) in order to partner with Information Technology Services and other university support teams
    • Recommend changes to support requested enhancements and/or Enrollment Management strategic initiatives using CRM and/or associated tools
    • Act as a change agent to help facilitate effective deployments/modifications to current practices
    • Identify opportunities for improving business processes

    Business Process Intake and Roadmap:

    • Maintain an intake request tool and partners with appropriate parties to identify prioritize, assign, and complete changes and enhancements to Enrollment Management business processes and integration needs for the CRM solution.
    • Create and maintains a CRM tool feature and enhancement road map, in partnership with the Enrollment Management Leadership Team (EMLT), which accounts for planned changes, unplanned enhancements, and updates to enable the Enrollment Management Strategic plan.

    User Acceptance Testing:

    • Create testing procedure(s)/scripts for end-users of technical solutions to ensure that the software can handle required tasks and works with Information Technology Services to find solutions for any problems identified during the process.


    Required Skills

    • Experience in using requirements and documentation methods to capture business process for the design and enhancement of a technology system.
    • Demonstrated skills and experience in business modeling, business processes and tools (e.g. workflow, mind maps, spreadsheets)
    • Ability to facilitate workshops and training sessions
    • Work independently to:
      • Assist with business case development for the introduction of new solution
      • Elicit requirements
      • Analyze requirements
      • Organize and catalog business requirements
      • Translate and simplify requirements
    • Demonstrated ability to create collaborative, strong partnerships.
    • Must be a proven self-starter, be able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Must be detail-oriented and have effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple duties.
    • Must be able to balance several ongoing projects and prioritize tasks.
    • Must have good interpersonal skills and able to respond to requests proactively and respectfully.

    Required Experience

    2+ years of experience in Enrollment, Admissions or related field. Demonstrated experience in business analysis, business process definition, process improvement and quality. Salesforce or CRM system experience is preferred.

    Required Education

    Bachelor's required; Certificate or certification in Business Analysis preferred

    Additional Information

    • Must be able to work in a sitting position at a computer for extended periods of time
    • This is a 1 FTE, 12 month per year position
