Responsible for managing a comprehensive system of transfer evaluations for prospective and current students for the College of Arts and Sciences.
Working knowledge and experience with relational databases and student information systems, experience with Banner student modules preferred.
Individual should have strong public relations and organization skills, exceptional written communication skills and a proven ability to manage complex systems and work with multiple constituencies. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to successfully work in an academic setting, apply conflict management skills, and have a proven track record of both detail orientation and big picture ability.
Ability to think critically and use appropriate independent judgment to apply transfer guidelines and procedures to unique student academic records.
Must be able to handle sensitive, confidential information in a mature, professional manner and be familiar with FERPA.
2+ years of related experience. Prior experience in an educational organization is strongly desired.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Must be able to work in a sitting position at a computer for extended periods of time.
Will require some nights and weekends during registration and incoming student events.
