Job Summary

Lead the enrollment management function at Bethel University in its effort to identify, recruit, admit, aid, enroll, retain, and graduate the optimal number and quality of students in each of our educational units (CAS and CAPS/Sem/GS). Ensure enrollment goals are consistent with the university strategic plan, and that enrollment management proactively and effectively partners with external partners and related departments across the university.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement enrollment management strategies and plans. Ensure underlying plans for admissions teams and financial aid are aligned and integrated as necessary with other departments (e.g., ITS, Marketing, Academic Programs). 
  • Build internal strategic partnerships to mobilize the campus as necessary to ensure recruiting and overall enrollment success. Build external partnerships as needed with those who can help Bethel meet its strategic enrollment objectives. 
  • In collaboration with other Bethel leaders, establish, monitor, and achieve the enrollment and tuition revenue objectives for each school in the university. 
  • Supervise a team of admissions, financial aid, and support personnel to ensure achievement of recruitment and net revenue goals.

  • Demonstrated leadership, management, and supervisory skills, including the ability to work effectively with leaders of other teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required Experience

  • At least 10 years of management and leadership experience at progressive levels of responsibility with at least 5 years of enrollment management experience are required.
  • Experience must include a successful track record of leading enrollment efforts, preferably in a comprehensive context involving programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
  • Marketing or sales experience from outside of higher education also represents relevant experience.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred

Additional Information

  • Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time.
  • This is a 1 FTE, 12 month position.
