Job Summary

Manage the daily operating functions of the CAPS/Seminary/GS Admission team, supporting marketing initiatives and providing leadership to a large and complex admissions system. Partner with key staff and faculty to effectively recruit students. Lead the CAPS/Seminary/GS Admissions office in development of recruiting plans and achievement of recruitment and net revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and monitor the annual master recruitment plan and admissions goals, which includes developing recruitment and marketing plans for the CAPS/SEM/GS admissions office. Leads work teams to ensure cross-functional collaboration and development of plans. 
  • Hire, train, manage, and coach a team of admissions and support personnel to ensure achievement of recruitment and net revenue goals. Prepares and manages the department budget. 
  • Partners with Director of Enrollment Management Operations to improve enrollment processes and CRM integration, set and evaluate SLA’s for processing, define operational reporting outcomes and creating/maintaining key enrollment reports.
  • Review, evaluate and report on all recruitment and admissions outcomes. 
  • Partner with key partners in Marketing and Academics to ensure a seamless student experience and alignment with marketing messaging. This work includes face-to-face meetings with staff in St. Paul, MN and San Diego, CA.
  • Serve as a member of several key leadership groups (including the Strategic Enrollment Team, the Enrollment Management Leadership Team and other institutional committees)
  • Oversee enrollment policies up to date, within compliance and aligned with academic leadership. Leads the monthly, cross-functional Admissions Committee. 
  • Participate in various external promotion events (college fairs, etc.)

  • Familiarity with principles and best practices of enrollment management functions, including admissions, outreach, recruitment, student services, yield, retention and data driven management

Required Experience

5+ years of experience in specific field required with 3+ years of management experience; Experience in sales preferred. Strong preference for experience in higher education or adult education recruitment, admissions, or marketing.

Required Education

Bachelor's required; Master's preferred.

Additional Information

  • Office environment. Must be able to work in a sitting position at a computer for extended periods. 
  • This is 1 FTE position, 12-months per year position.
  • Occasionally requires evening and weekend work. Includes some travel.
